Lophocereus schottii monstruosus cv MAJOR

Lophocereus schottii monstruosus cv MAJOR is a fascinating cultivar of the Lophocereus schottii species. Native to the Sonoran Desert, this cactus displays a highly unusual, crested growth form. Unlike the typical columnar shape, the ‘MAJOR’ cultivar develops contorted, brain-like crests with variable rib patterns. Its bluish-green stems are adorned with clusters of spines, adding to its striking appearance. This slow-growing cactus is a prized addition to xeriscapes and succulent collections.
