Hoya krohniana ‘Eskimo’

Hoya krohniana‘Eskimo’ produces small, heart-shaped foliage so densely splashed with silver that the leaves appear almost frosted. The stems trail delicately, building into a fine-textured cascadeor drape over the edge of a shelf. In the right conditions it produces clusters of small, fragrant, star-shaped flowers. It is a slow, tidy grower that suits collectors who enjoy the miniature end of the Hoya spectrum.

Origins
Native to the Philippines,Hoya krohnianagrows as an epiphyte in tropical forest canopy. ‘Eskimo’ is selected for its particularly heavy silver splash patterning, which covers more of each leaf than the species type.

Soil and Substrate
As an epiphyte,Hoya krohniananeeds a very open, fast-draining substrate.
