Calathea ‘Bella Carlina’

A very rare cultivar of Calathea. Possibly the first release in the UK.

• Calatheas are known as ‘Prayer plants’ meaning their foliage folds up at night and drops during the day.
• Large wide leaves, with a almost feathered appearance

Growth pattern: Compact rossette geophyte

Water: When the top 2-3cm of soil becomes dry.

Ideal Position: East facing

Light: Bright, indirect or filtered light.

Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use.
