Diospyros kaki Tecumseh Asian Persimmon

Tecumseh is a small, hardy Asian persimmon tree, named and selected by Dr. Jim Shanks of the University of Maryland. Likely a seedling of the Great Wall variety, this cultivar produces soft, ripe fruit that holds on the tree well into winteroften through January or February. The fruit is excellent fresh, dried, or frozen. Tecumseh is a long-lived, dependable, and highly productive tree.
