Tasmanian Violet (Viola banksii)

Native to Australia, Tasmanian Violet is an easy-to-grow, flowering container plant. The violet-purple flowers are tipped with white and accented with a little, bird-like orange “beak.” It may be used as a low-growing groundcover in zones 9-11 in moist, partially-shaded areas. This beauty is tolerant of various light conditions and is a strong and resilient grower.
