Gardener’s Notes:Sweet peas love cool weather and need to grown before summer’s heat. Plant in rich soil in early spring. To speed germination, soak seeds in warm water for 12-24 hours. Seeds can be started indoors 4-6 weeks before planting outside, or sow outdoors as soon as oil can be worked. In warm climates, plant in fall or late winter and early spring bloom.
