Spathiphyllum sp. NOID

This is a species Spathiphyllum that came from a German botanical garden. We have the ID as Spathiphyllum lanceifolium but we are not 100% sure on that as the foliage doesn’t match the description.

Water:
Keep the substrate evenly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top third of the pot to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid letting the plant sit in standing water, and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

Light:
Prefers bright, filtered light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause leaf scorch. It can tolerate lower light levels, but flowering may be reduced.

Humidity:
Benefits from high humidity, ideally above 60%. If indoor humidity is consistently above 70%, this plant is suitable for terrarium culture if size allows. In drier rooms, use humidity trays, misting, or a room humidifier.

Temperature:
Optimal temperature range is 2028C. Avoid exposure to cold drafts or temperatures below 15C, as prolonged cold may cause stress or halt growth.
