Sempervivum ‘Jeanne d’Arc’

Embodying the spirit of its namesake, Sempervivum ‘Jeanne d’Arc’ is a captivating succulent hailing from the mountainous regions of Europe. This plant is a visual feast, with rosettes displaying a striking combination of frosted green leaves that transition to a pure white at the tips, creating an effect reminiscent of snow-capped peaks. The robust leaves are thick and fleshy, designed to store water and endure the dry conditions of its native habitat. Sempervivum ‘Jeanne d’Arc’ reaches a modest size, typically growing up to 4 inches in height and spreading out to about 6 inches in width, making it an ideal candidate for small spaces and rock gardens.

True to its hardy nature, ‘Jeanne d’Arc’ thrives in well-drained soil and requires minimal water, embodying the low-maintenance qualities gardeners adore in succulents. Its compact growth habit and enchanting appearance make it a perfect centerpiece for container gardens, where it can be admired up close. In the summer, ‘Jeanne d’Arc’ surprises with charming pink flowers that emerge from the center of the rosette, adding a pop of color to the already striking foliage.

Whether planted in a succulent garden, nestled among rocks, or displayed in a container, Sempervivum ‘Jeanne d’Arc’ brings a touch of alpine beauty to any setting.
