Santa Fe Grande pepper plants grow around 2-1/2 ft. tall and provide heavy yields, so you can expect a constant stream of beautiful and tasty peppers throughout the growing season. Pods will grow to be 3″ long and mature from bright green to yellow to orange to a glossy red. Oftentimes, all three colors of maturity will be on the plant at the same time. Who doesnt love a pepper rainbow? Whats better is the peppers can be harvested successfully at any stage in growth. This means you can use a combination of yellow, orange, and red peppers to deliver delicious and colorful dishes throughout your harvest season!
The peppers are slightly sweet and deliver a mild heat, making them a great alternative to jalapeno peppers. They are perfect for pickling and salsas, which means you can use them to amp up your salads, sandwiches, nachos you know, everything.
