Agastache x Rosie Posie (Hummingbird Mint) is a new garden-worthy cultivar that fills the need for a compact, long-blooming, low-maintenance perennial. Native to North America, Agastache features fragrant flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Scented foliage makes them perfect for a paths edge where they will be brushed as visitors pass, releasing a minty fragrance. Nice candidates for areas where minimal care is needed, these xeric plants are very hardy and drought tolerant once established. Plant them in a full-sun location with well-drained soil. Great in containers as well, they can provide cut flowers, and may be dried for their sweet minty fragrance.
