Red Wax Plant (Hoya affinis)

The waxy shiny red umbels of flowers captivate the eye with their heavy texture and intensity of color. The higher the light, the more brilliant red the flowers become. The 2 bloom clusters have 10-12 brilliant red flowers in each cluster. This vigorous grower, from the Solomon Islands, needs to vine 4-5 feet before it blooms. Train them on a stake or trellis, or wrap them around a basket and prepare to be amazed.
