The Psychopsis Mariposa is an Oncidium family orchid, commonly referred to as the giraffe orchid, or Mariposa (butterfly) orchid. It can bloom from the same spike for years afer years. Bloom lasts between 3-4 weeks, sequential bloomer if it is under good growing condition.

Extra Notes:Water:Water when approaching dryness. When roots are abundant these are heavy drinkers, during vegetative / growth stage keep moist and fertilize. Give full dryout after flowering season. Media:Use high quality media so it can last longer as these do not like to be repotted. Grow the roots in abundance so it can maximize growth without root disruption. We recommend Roe Standard Potting mix with top layer of moss (~1-2″) or the Roe inorganic blend.
