Poppin Passion Passion Fruit (Passiflora Wellington 101 PP)

Poppin Passion Passion Fruit was hybridized for container growers or small gardens since it only grows 3-5 tall on a trellis. It flowers on the current seasons growth and has the traditional passion flower blossoms with white petals and sepals and deep purple and white filaments. The purple fruit has a tart flavor that sweetens as it ripens. The fruit matures 60-80 days after pollination. Peak fruiting needs 80-85 F temperatures with high humidity. It can be easily overwintered indoors in zones where it is not hardy.
