Ripens from a waxy yellow to bright red. Firm, pungent flesh is good fried or pickled. Sowing: Start indoor mid-February to late March in a soilless medium. Grow seedlings under bright light at 16-21C (60-70F). Transplant after hardening off in late May. Comments: Keep evenly watered. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizers.
