(Wild Quinine)
Upright native perennial known as wild quinine, with rough, gray-green foliage and flat-topped clusters of white, button-like flowers in summer. Adds a strong, textural accent in prairie and meadow plantings and is tolerant of heat and drought once established. Prefers full sun and average to dry, well-drained soils and is a good structural companion to grasses and other tall perennials.
