Paph venustum v. alba is a green and white variation of the Paphiopdilum venustrum. Found inAssam India, northeastern Bangladesh, the eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, Nepal and Yunnan China, often near streams and crotch of trees. It’s a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial orchid that blooms in late winter and spring. The album form is unable to produce anthocyanin (the red pigment). The foilage also have interesting patterns.
