Onion Sweet Red is a popularred variety with a mild, sweet flavour. Fresh tasting and versatile – use in salads, cooked dishes or as a garnish. Grow in fertile soil in a sunny well-drained position. A great companion plant for beets, carrots, cabbage, lettuce, parsnip, roses and tomatoes. Avoid overwatering – seeds may rot before germination if soil is too wet.
