Olive ‘Verdale’

Olive ‘Verdale’ originates from the south of France and produces large, bright green olives which ripen to dark, purple-black in autumn. The history of the Verdale olive variety is not well-documented, but it is thought to have been cultivated throughout the Mediterranean for centuries. It has the most silvery foliage of all the olives and can be planted for its ornamental value alone. Ideal for using as a feature, hedging or shade tree and great for pickling as a table olive.
