Nodding Onion – Salt Spring Seeds

Allium cemuum

Native perennial prefers grasslands & dry open woods. Flowers July-Aug with lovely
“nodding” umbel of white, pink, purple, rose flowers. Great “edible landscape” plant – “better than chives”.

Direct seed to the garden: Late spring.

Cool start in flats:Early spring, late spring.

Sowing depth: For tiny seed cover very lightly, otherwise sow no deeper than 2-4 times the seed diameter.
