Thisminiature epiphytic orchid species is native to the humid Andean cloud forests, where it grows on moss-covered branches in constantly moist environments. Lepanthes cymbium is appreciated by collectors for its tiny yet intricate flowers and compact growth habit, often blooming successively from the base of the leaf.

• Light: Provide low to medium filtered light (5070% shade) similar to the understory of cloud forests. Avoid direct sunlight, which can easily damage the delicate leaves.
• Temperature:This species prefers cool to intermediate conditions. Ideal temperatures are 1522C (5972F) during the day, with a cooler night drop around 1015C (5059F).
• Humidity:Maintain 7090% humidity with constant gentle air movement. High humidity is essential for healthy growth and flowering in most Lepanthes species.
• Watering:Keep the plant consistently moist but never waterlogged. Because Lepanthes roots are very fine and lack water-storage structures, the plant should never dry out completely. Mounted plants may require daily watering or frequent misting.
