Keepcrisp Blueberry (US PP27,771) As the name implies keeps crisp and dark after picking. Amid- to late-season southern highbush blueberry developed for firm, crisp berries that hold up exceptionally well after harvest. The fruit is medium to large, similar to Emerald, dark blue, and sweet, making it extending the quality and shelf life of this new variety.. The bush is vigorous, upright, and highly productive, ideal for home gardens or small-scale plantings and introduced to growers for it’s crisp keeping qualities after harvest.

This variety thrives in full sun. Keepcrisp Blueberry is self-fertile. Space plants5 feet apartwith 5′ wide beds of organic matter, it wood chips, pine etc. Avoid rich soils, manure or compost when creating an optimal root habitat for blueberries,height 4-5 feet. Suited forUSDA zones 79, Keep Crisp performs especially well in warmer climates while retaining excellent berry quality and shelf life.
