Coix lacryma-jobi This grass-like monocot is a true all-purpose plant! Jobs Tears is both a beautiful ornamental and a useful grain. Delicate flowers dangle from sturdy stalks, followed by hard, shiny silver seedsresembling porcelain tearsthat are often used as natural beads. The edible grains have a mildly sweet, earthy flavor, making them a unique addition to a variety of dishes. Its graceful form also makes it a beautiful accent in cut flower arrangements.
