Japanese Bird’s Nest Fern

Japanese Bird’s Nest Fern (Asplenium antiquum) is among 350 species of ferns in the genus Asplenium. This one differs from Asplenium nidus since the wavy fronds are more uniform in width. The arched frond will reach three feet long in the native environment. Please keep him in humidity and consistently moist soil in bright, indirect light or on a sheltered porch. His interesting wave will remind you of beachy days at the ocean’s edge.
