Helleborus Wedding Party ‘Blushing Bridesmaid’

Hybridizer Hans Hansen has a passion for hellebores. In his breeding work, he selects for plants with notable vigor, showy floral displays with large numbers of blossoms per plant, and rich flower colors. The WEDDING PARTY series showcases his double flowered selections, available in numerous, beautiful color shades and ‘Blushing Bridesmaid’ is no exception! You’ll be struck with the beauty of its double white flowers with raspberry pink veining and delicate edging. These pretty blooms hand elegantly on dark evergreen foliage. Not to mention, they are deer and rabbit resistant so you don’t need to worry about pesky pests nibbling on these beautiful blooms. Helleborus are the harbinger of spring, blooming for six weeks or more in the late winter and early spring. They thrive in the shade so you can all some bold color to your shady corners and beds. Helleborus were named the Perennial Plant Association’s Plant of the Year in 2005. They are perfect perennials when you need a splash of color as you weary of winter’s bare grip. You’ll find yourself awe struck when these flowers light up your shade garden with color in the early spring.
