Common Grape Hyacinth

6″ tall x 3-4′ wide. Common Grape Hyacinth adds unusualdark blue florets that lighten to a lilac-blue crown. These small plants pack abig punch in the mid-spring garden and are important pollinator favorites. At 6″tall they are a perfect choice around entries, at the edges of planting beds,in rock gardens or sprinkled among other spring bulbs. Easy to plant and notfussy, just plant them in well-drained soil, in sun or part shade. Plant3″ deep and 2-3″ apart. Plant in groups of at least 25 bulbs for thebest effect. Water well and as needed during flowering. Muscari has a musky,grape-like scent that repels predators and attracts bees. With abundant nectar,these little flowers are an important source of spring nectar for ourpollinators. Great for spring containers too.
