Named for its multi-tiered rows of purple and white flowers resembling pagodas, this native California wildflower blooms late-spring through summer. An excellent choice for bouquets and arrangements, Chinese Houses is nectar-rich and loved by pollinators. Great in border gardens and sometimes used as ground cover. 1-2 tall. Self-sows if blossoms are not harvested. 100 seeds minimum Germination: 7-10 days Direct sow in full sun after last frost or start indoors 4-6 weeks prior to last frost. Press scattered seeds gently into soil. Moist soil and light are required for successful germination. Water/mist gently after sowing. Space 10-12 apart. Do not overwater.
