Carrot ‘Presto’ on ribbon

The ‘Presto’ carrot on tape is a European Nantes-type variety that is appreciated for the regularity of its roots, its sweet flavor, and the remarkable simplicity of its sowing. In the garden, it allows for neat and harmonious rows, making the growing experience as satisfying as it is efficient, especially for gardeners who want to reduce thinning. Its smooth, cylindrical, and bright orange roots offer excellent visual and gustatory quality, both for fresh harvests and for daily culinary uses. A mid-early variety, it easily finds its place in a productive vegetable garden where yield, uniformity, and ease of cultivation are sought. Its vigorous foliage contributes to healthy growth, while its umbels, in the second year, can attract beneficial insects to the garden. The 6 m tape format facilitates planting and helps to better distribute the seeds in well-prepared soil that is loose and rich in organic matter. With constant moisture, this variety develops tender, crunchy, and flavorful roots that are a pleasure to harvest. ‘Presto’ on tape is thus an excellent option for those who want to combine practicality, abundance, and quality in their vegetable garden.
