The flowers are held overabove loose rosettes of bright green, spaghetti-like foliage. Collected by Lauren and Scott Ogden from mountain meadows on the western flanks of the Draks, this is a cold hardy perennial (down to USDA zone 6 in dry- winter western gardens). It’s a fine rock garden plant. Or grow it in the waterwise garden where it gets some moderate summer moisture.
