This compact epiphyte hails from the Philippines, particularly around Mt Banahaw on Luzon, growing at approximately 1,000m in warm, humid forest canopies.It forms creeping rhizomes carrying small, ovoid pseudobulbs spaced about 2cm apart, each topped with a single leathery, midgreen leaf. In spring or early summer, it sends out a carrion-like pendulous 817cm inflorescences densely packed with 4050 tiny rosepurple flowers along a thickened rachiseach bloom resembling a lizard head with a light mushroom fragrance.

Water:
Maintain consistently moist substrate, never allow it to dry out completely.

Prefers bright, filtered light. Avoid any direct sun to prevent leaf scorch .
