Begonia U641 is a tuberous species that requires a dormancy period in the winter months unless you pinch it back routinely. During dormancy, it may lose its leaves and be reduced to only a tuber beneath the soil. Worry not, because in spring it will grow again into a luscious specimen. Its green to reddish-brown leaves are marked with beautifully iridescent neon green dots that almost appear to glow in contrast to the leaves. This plant will need high humidity to thrive so raising in a terrarium or greenhouse is recommended.
