‘Provence Wight’ is a vigorous softneck garlic variety originally from the fertile valleys of the Drme region in Provence, now well-adapted to UK gardens. It produces large, white bulbs packed with fat, juicy cloves full of sweet and mild Mediterranean flavour.

This variety is perfect for adding depth to vegetable and fish dishes, with a gentler heat than some stronger garlics. Easy to grow and reliable, it’s ideal for autumn plantingget cloves in the ground from September for a summer harvest. Once lifted, the bulbs store well right through until January.
