Astilbe x simplicifolia Hennie Graafland 1G

(False Spirea)

Graceful, low-growing astilbe with finely cut, glossy green foliage and airy plumes of soft shell-pink flowers in early to midsummer. The arching flower stems and delicate texture make it ideal for edging shaded borders, paths, and woodland plantings, where it weaves nicely among hostas and ferns. Prefers partial shade and consistently moist, humus-rich soil, and benefits from even watering during dry spells to keep foliage fresh.
