Violet and purple bicolor or uniform light blue flowers. The common name of this small but stunning native is derived from the leaves, which resemble a bird’s feet.

Viola attracts bees and butterflies to the garden. Prefers sandy or gravelly, dry to medium well drained soil. Drought tolerant when established. Requires well drained soil to thrive. Will self seed in the garden.
