Green Japanese Maple

The Japanese Green Maple is a graceful tree, prized for its vibrant green foliage that transforms into shades of gold, orange, or red in the fall before dropping to the ground. Acer palmatum is a beautiful, deciduous tree with a broad, rounded shape. Growing at a slow to moderate rate, the Green Japanese Maple reaches a mature size of 20 to 25 ft. tall and wide. Typically, faster growth occurs during its younger years, gradually slowing as it reaches maturity. Under optimal conditions, Acer palmatum can grow 1 to 2 feet per year.
