Sempervivum ‘Pink Lotus’

Embodying the serene beauty of its namesake, Sempervivum ‘Pink Lotus’ is an exquisite succulent hailing from the high altitudes of Europe. This hardy plant presents a mesmerizing display of tightly packed rosettes, which gracefully unfold much like the petals of a lotus. The leaves are a striking combination of deep green at the base, transitioning to vibrant pink tips, evoking the image of a blooming lotus flower. This unique coloration adds a pop of color to any garden or indoor setting, making it a focal point wherever it’s placed.

Reaching up to 4 inches in height and spreading out to about 6 inches in width, ‘Pink Lotus’ is compact yet striking, perfect for rock gardens, succulent arrangements, or as a solitary statement piece in a decorative pot. Despite its delicate appearance, this succulent is tough and drought-resistant, thriving in well-draining soil and full sun to partial shade conditions. Its low maintenance requirements make it an ideal choice for both seasoned gardeners and beginners alike.

Adding to its charm, Sempervivum ‘Pink Lotus’ produces star-shaped, pink flowers in the early to mid-summer, attracting pollinators and adding an extra layer of beauty to its display. After flowering, the mother rosette dies, encouraging the growth of new offsets, ensuring that your ‘Pink Lotus’ collection continues to grow and thrive. This cycle of life adds a dynamic element to your garden or indoor space, bringing new growth and interest year after year.
