Hibiscus acetosella

Hibiscus acetosella is a flowering plant of the family Malvaceae. The name acetosella is of Latin origin and is a diminutive of the Latin name for sorrel which comes from the sour taste experienced when eating the young leaves of both plants. It has gorgeous bright pink flowers and the leave can be a very dark maroon in certain growing conditions.

Care of Hibiscus acetosella:
Does best in full sun, but will tolerate partial shade at the expense of some flower production. Allow soil to dry slightly between waterings.
