Schizachyrium scoparium ‘Standing Ovation’ is a new selection of our native Little Bluestem grass. Our 2018 Plant of The Year and 2016 Plant Select winner, ‘Standing Ovation’ was selected for its strong upright growth habit, blue summer foliage, and outstanding reddish fall color. It stands up well to rain, wind, and snow and the stems won’t bend over, giving the grass a tidy appearance, especially in the fall and winter months when it provides off-season beauty.
