The warming oven offers an alternative cooking method for joints of meat, potatoes and vegetables. Build a very large fire in your fire pit 1 to 1.5 hours before you want to start cooking. The larger and hotter the fire, the better for heating the warming oven. Ensure that the oven door is closed and remains closed as you build the fire up. The oven will reach an ideal cooking temperature of 220 degrees + if the fire is large enough.
