Prok is a standout American persimmon known for its very large fruit, mild flavor, and early ripening often before the first fall frost at the nursery. Fruits naturally drop when fully ripe, making them easy to harvest. This is likely the best native persimmon for early-season use, whether for fresh eating, processing, or selling at market.
