Peonies are long-lived plants that can last for a century or more when planted in home gardens, making them a well-known species in the flower world. Planted in full sun, peonies produce petal-packed blooms that are perfect for cutting and enjoying in a vase or bouquet.
This collection includes two types of peonies: ‘Festiva Maxima’ and ‘Pink Hawaiian Coral’ are herbaceous (also called garden) peonies, which quickly grow into a bush-like form, while ‘Bartzella’ is an Itoh peony, with plentiful, dinner-plate sized flowers and a slightly more-compact shape. All peonies are deer resistant.
