Pachyveria ‘Blue Haze’

With fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves coated in a thick layer of powdery farina, there is no question from whence Pachyveria Blue Haze received its name! The chubby leaves have an olive green and blue undertone that sometimes takes on a pinkish coloration with ample sunlight, all of which is softened to a hazy bluish gray by the farina which can be easily marred by your fingerprints, so take care when handling the loose rosettes of this variety.

With a shrubby habit and proneness for offsetting, Blue Haze can form a cluster of stems up to several inches tall and wide at maturity provided it receives the bright sunlight necessary to achieve this level of growth! Beyond this, its care is very similar to any typical succulent, and Blue Haze will thrive when provided with a porous soil mixture, a well-draining pot, and a thorough yet infrequent watering routine.

The water-rich leaves of Blue Haze cannot tolerate frost, so be sure to shield them from freezing temperatures during the winter months.
