Compact, textured, and rarely seen in cultivation. Anthurium queremalense is a lesser-known Colombian species that produces elongated, lance-shaped leaves with a subtle corrugated texture and prominent veining. The foliage is thick and leathery with a semi-matte finish, held in a tight rosette that stays manageable. It is a terrestrial species that does not climb, making it well-suited to a tabletop or terrarium. A genuine rarity among collector Anthuriums.

Origins
Native to the western slopes of the Andes in Colombia, near the town of Queremal, Anthurium queremalense grows terrestrially in humid, shaded montane forest at moderate elevations.

Soil and Substrate
Our Anthurium Premium Potting Mix is peat-free and formulated for demanding Anthuriums: bark, charcoal, coco husk, lava rock, and pumice for long-lasting structure and root aeration. Humidity above 60% is recommended.
