Here in Zone 5, we grow this variety outdoors in a raised bed until December and in a cold frame 12 months of the year. An excellent lettuce variety for autumn sowing. Best to sow in a partially shaded location since it does not tolerate intense heat too well. Try intercropping this one between corn or sunflower. In 2021 we grew a row in between our Glass Gem Corn with outstanding results.
