Blueberry ‘Brightwell’

Rabbiteye blueberries are native to South-Eastern America and supposedly get their name from the fact that the berries turn pink before they turn blue .. like a rabbit’s eye. They are low-chill blueberries and surprisingly fresh when eaten fresh from the bush. Allow to ripen on the bush for the best flavour. A low chill variety suited to warmer areas. Prefers a soil pH between 4-5.
