Squash ‘Red Kuri’

Red Kuri squash ( Cucurbita maxima ), offered by seed company Northern Wildflowers, is a winter variety prized for its golden yellow flesh with a sweet, subtly nutty flavor.

Native to Asia, it is distinguished by its bright red-orange skin and tender texture, ideal for stews, soups or purees. Reaching 1 to 2 meters (3 to 6 feet) in height, it matures in 90 to 100 days.
